Robert was in the Navy from April 1943 until may 1963 and served on the Southerland from March 1948 until June 1950. His other duty stations were USS Pakana ATF 108, USS Cambria APA 36, USS Fremont APA 44, USS Buchanan DDG 14, NTC Great Lakes, US Naval Attache , Tiapei, Taiwan, and Navy Recuiting, Spokan, WA. He retired as a SMC USN. Bob was born November 7, 1925 and married Mary December 6, 1947 and they were married 59+ years. Mary passed away May 13, 2007.
